THIS CRUISE FROM MAHÉ IS AIMED AT EXPERIENCED DIVERS WITH A LEVEL ALLOWING CERTAIN DIVES TO 42 METRES (ADVANCE LEVEL OR MINIMUM EQUIVALENT REQUIRED). IN ADDITION, NITROX QUALIFICATION IS REQUIRED (TRAINING AND QUALIFICATION CAN BE DONE ON BOARD).
Located at 3° south latitude of the Equator, the Northern Atolls and more precisely the Bird Atoll represent the northernmost part of the Seychelles archipelago.
This situation offers often favorable sea conditions and allows to dive there almost all the year.
Compared to the other diving boats and thanks to the speed of travel our Boat Explorer1, 5 hours of navigation will suffice to reach the Bird Atoll.
Unlike the atolls located in the West and South of the Seychelles where the crossings, often interminable, do not allow to dive because of too large depths (up to 4000 meters), this cruise will allow you to dive in the most fish-rich spots in the world, which we are the only ones to frequent, guaranteeing grey sharks, nurse sharks, whale sharks and manta rays (depending on the season), giant rays and a multitude of schools of fish and pelagics on a selection of our 12 best sites, different from each other.

4 days – 3 nights on board – 13 plongées
Day 1
Mahé - Praslin
Boarding in the morning, installation in your cabins, security briefing and development of the program. Lunch on board. Navigation to Praslin with 2 or 3 dives on the way! Anchorage at Anse Lazio...
Day 2
Praslin - Bird Island
Leaving Praslin, beautiful dive on a formation of peaks and granite towers. Will follow 2 dives on the way on coral plateaus inhabited by number of sharks and giant rays... Finally, a beautiful night dive awaits you on the steep walls of Bird atoll.
Day 3
Bird Island
The 3 or 4 dives of the day are done on the Bird drop-off and in the lagoon. It is not uncommon to see mantas who have come to be cleaned.
Day 4
Bird Island - La Digue
On the way back, the 3 dives take place on deep coral plateaus. Fauna very rich in grey sharks, whale sharks, etc. Landing at La Digue or Praslin around 17h.

- The number of dives may be increased or decreased for specific reasons (e.g. weather conditions, surface intervals, no deco limits, etc.). In any cases the price will not be changed, no discount if less dives, no extra charges if more dives.

- Optional excursions payable on site: Fond Ferdinand, Source d’Argent, bike rental in La Digue and other excursions on the islands
- Landing on Curieuse, Coco Island and the coral islands: about 40€
- Access and use of the decompression chamber or oxygen therapy station
- Cancellation, rapatriation and diving insurances

- More than 60 days before departure: Cancellation/refund fee of 80€
- Between 60 and 45 days before departure: 30% of the total amount will be charged
- Between 44 and 30 days before departure: 50% of the total amount will be charged
- Between 29 and departure day: 100% of the total total amount will be charged
